Mr Abimbola  has served as  a Pioneer Executive Commissioner at the National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC). He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Lagos and had been a Visiting Lecturer of the University of Kwazulu Natal.

Mr Odubiyi has held several Senior Management positions at EON/Power Gen in the United Kingdom.  He possesses  an MBA in International Business.  Aston University, UK as well as a Masters of Science in Electrical Power System Engineering. University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, WI, USA.  He earned a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA.  MrOdubiyi is a Member Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (MIEEE) USA and is also a Member Nigeria Society of Engineers.
